Holophane E100 Prismatic Pendant Light Original Brass Gallery

An original Holophane E100 prismatic glass pendant light, complete with its original Holophane brass gallery. Up to 6 available The substantial clear glass shade features Holophane’s distinctive deeply moulded prismatic design, developed to refract and distribute light while creating the wonderful sparkle for which early Holophane lighting is renowned. The glass is moulded HOLOPHANE ENGLAND E100, while the original metal gallery is stamped HOLOPHANE and PAT No. 28498/15. The gallery retains its wonderfully aged surface and natural patina, which we have deliberately left unpolished to preserve the character and appearance of the original fitting. The light has been rewired with new mahogany-coloured 3-core twisted flex and fitted with a new S. Lilley UK-made lampholder, carefully chosen to complement the original fitting while making the light suitable for modern use. A superb piece of early architectural and industrial lighting, equally suited to a period interior or as a statement piece within a contemporary setting. We currently have six matching E100 examples available, making these particularly suitable for installation as a matching run over a kitchen island or dining table, or within a restaurant, bar, retail or commercial interior.
