Item Details
A fine late 18th Century mahogany cellarette of elegant proportion, retaining a beautiful rich patina. The rectangular hinged top opens to reveal a fitted interior for bottles, all raised on a carved stand with fluted square tapering legs and decorative gadrooned edge. The sides are mounted with striking lion mask ring handles, adding a touch of grandeur typical of the George III period.
A superb example of English craftsmanship from the late Georgian era — functional yet refined, perfect for use as a wine cooler, side table, or statement decorative piece.
