Antique Holophane E60 Prismatic Glass Pendant Light with Original Brass Gallery

An original Holophane E60 prismatic glass pendant light, complete with an original stamped Holophane brass gallery. The beautifully moulded clear glass features the characteristic Holophane prismatic pattern, originally engineered to control and diffuse the light while producing a particularly attractive illuminated appearance. The original gallery is stamped HOLOPHANE and PAT No. 28498/15 and retains its naturally aged surface and patina. Rather than polishing the fitting, we have deliberately preserved this finish and the character acquired through decades of use. The pendant has been rewired using new mahogany-coloured 3-core twisted flex and fitted with a new S. Lilley UK-made lampholder, providing a sympathetic combination of original period components and quality modern wiring. These make wonderful pendant lights for kitchens, dining rooms and hallways and are equally at home in traditional, industrial or contemporary interiors. We currently have four matching E60 examples available with original stamped Holophane galleries, offering the opportunity to acquire an attractive matching run of original Holophane lighting. Additional Holophane E60 shades are also available, which can be supplied as complete pendant lights fitted with new, sympathetically styled galleries.
